ReXil Asia Now Member of the topsector Mekong Delta
From the 5th till the 9th of September the Mekong Delta Business Platform (MDBP) took place in Vietnam, organized by the Embassy of the Netherlands and the Topsectors. Our Asian cooperation ‘ReXil Asia’, member of the VCCI and now also one of the top sectors of Mekong Delta attended in Ho Chi Minh City to represent our Aquaculture product ‘REXAQUA’. The solution for a sustainable nature-based Aquaculture chain. During the Research & Technology panel our CEO Drs. Ir. William Nolten explained why the product ‘REXAQUA’ should be part of the future Aquaculture chain:
- REXAQUA provides essential nutrients to improve the growth of algae and diatoms, increases resistance and inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria by preventing pathogens from attaching to the intestinal tract of shrimp and crab, fish, snails and eels.
- REXAQUA stimulates shrimp to molt, harden the shell, make the shrimp’s color brighter and lighter, increase productivity and survival rate for aquaculture.
- REXAQUA significantly improves dissolved oxygen concentration, reducing metal content.
We are thankful for the great audience and are looking forward for more opportunities and promising collaborations. You can follow our updates on www.rexil-agro.com.

JULY 2022
Second publication in Aquafeed Magazine July 2022, Optimising shrimp health & production
In conclusion, the effect of adding a bioavailable silicic acid product (Silifish®) has pronounced effects on specific genes that influence shrimp performance in relation to digestive functional efficiency and enhancing key components of the innate immune system and stress tolerance capacity of shrimp. The same study focusing on growth and feed conversion as well as protein utilisation efficiency is compliant with this study on nutrigenomics and general immune potential. The fact that a bioavailable silicic acid can significantly raise the water quality and environmental conditions such as the promotion of planktonic growth including the production of diatoms to generate a stable biofloc is implicit in these findings. Future work must be directed to assess other key metabolic
associated genes and to explore their involvement in optimising shrimp health and production under varying conditions. References available on request.

Our trial on shrimp has been published in Aquafeed Magazine April 2022
With significant results of our trial on shrimps in Thailand, we are proud to share this article, published by International Aquafeed with our audience. This specific and independently controlled study in Thailand clearly demonstrated that SiliFish® can significantly improve shrimp performance as measured by standard aquaculture metrics. All details regarding the trial method and more results on the elevation in total biomass and mean body weight of the shrimps and improvement of the quality of water you can read from page 38 – 44. #aquaculture #shrimps #casestudy #quality #foodchain #water #aquaticlife
